The 28 by Bocci results from an innovative fabrication process that manipulates both the temperature and the direction of air flow into blown glass. The result is a slightly distorted sphere with an interior landscape of satellite shapes, including an opaque milk glass diffuser that houses a low-voltage LED lamp.
28.16 is comprised of 16 hand blown glass pendants which attach using a fixed length headphone jack connection to a rectangular or square white powder coated canopy. The LED bulbs are mains dimmable and the power supply is housed in the canopy.
Please note: shortest and longest lengths must be provided and are recommended to be no less than 550mm apart to create an optimum cascade. Bocci will create a random selection of lengths throughout the minimum and maximum range provided.
This listing is for the clear glass option, but the 28 pendant light is available in approx 90 colours. If you would like to order this light in any other colour combinations please use the Colour Configurator and email us the details of the configuration. We will then be able to prepare a quote for you. The coloured glass options are charged at an additional £313 per sphere.
Please note that whilst Bocci products are created using the best quality raw materials, they are handmade using innovative techniques to manufacture their glassworks. The authentic production process of these pieces means that some items may have unique detailing that occurs during the manufacturing process.
