The Bob pendant light, by Michael Anastassiades, is an inverted tear drop resembling a weight suspended from a string, which is often used as a vertical reference line; a tool for building and measurements. Instead, this is a simple pendant that hangs to illuminate a space. Bob is a family of pendants and wall or ceiling-mounted sconces.
